At Manly Surf Guide, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read the following information regarding shipping, returns and refunds before placing your order.

Shipping

We ship Australia-wide using trusted courier and postal services.

Free shipping to Bondi, Sydney CBD and Manly. For a limited time only!

Please read shipping information / terms and conditions before placing your order.

Free pick-up is available from our warehouse in 27/8 Sydenham rd Brookvale, Sydney, NSW. 

Shipping charges to the Greater Sydney Metropolitan area and as far north to Newcastle, west to the Blue Mountains and south to Wollongong. Also metro areas including: Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Brisbane.

  • 5’6ft to 6’6 boards: $60 (per surfboard)

  • 7ft to 7’6 boards: $80 (per surfboard)

  • 8ft to 9ft $95 (per surfboard)

For all other areas, please contact us for a quote on shipping, call 0412 417 431 or you can txt your suburb, post code and board size. You can also make your purchase online and we will contact you with a quote for the extra shipping charge. You can then choose to cancel your order for a full refund if you do not wish to pay the extra shipping. 

Shipping time frame:

WA / Tassie: 5-10 working days
SA / Vic / Qld / Regional NSW: 3-10 working days
Greater Sydney: 2-6 working days

Pre Christmas delivery Cut Off Dates:

WA / Tassie - 11th December
SA / Vic / Qld / Regional NSW - 13th December
Greater Sydney - 16th December

SHIPPING INSURANCE COVER

Sydney Metro is $50, Australia wide $100

This covers any damage to your board that may occur during the shipping process by the courier company. To purchase this cover please call 0412417431 after you make your order and we can set this up over the phone. If you choose not to purchase this cover and your board gets damaged during shipping it will be up to you to take it up with the courier company direct.

Manly Surf Guide will not be not be responsible for any damage that may accur by the courier company if you do not have this cover.

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be provided where available.

Local Pickup

Orders can be collected from our Brookvale store:

Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready for collection.

Change of Mind Returns

We understand that sometimes people change their minds.

For full-priced products, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to request a return.

To be eligible, the item must:

  • Be unused

  • Be in brand new condition

  • Be in its original packaging

  • Include all accessories and tags

  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are not refundable.

All change-of-mind returns must be approved by Manly Surf Guide before being returned.

Approved change-of-mind returns will generally be issued as store credit.

Sale & Clearance Items

All sale and clearance items are final sale.

We do not accept returns, exchanges or provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases on sale or clearance products.

This includes where you:

  • Ordered the wrong product

  • Ordered the wrong size

  • Changed your mind

  • No longer require the item

This policy does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a sale item is faulty, damaged, significantly different from its description or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may still be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as required by law.

Surfboards & Bulky Items

Please inspect your surfboard carefully before using it.

Surfboards that have been waxed, surfed, damaged or used cannot be returned due to a change of mind.

If collecting your board from our store, please inspect it before leaving.

If your board arrives damaged during shipping, please take photos of both the packaging and the board and contact us as soon as possible.

Please do not use a damaged product before contacting us.

Faulty or Damaged Products

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

If your product arrives faulty, damaged, unsafe, significantly different from its description or is not of acceptable quality, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product

  • Your contact details

Depending on the circumstances, we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Incorrect Size or Product Selection

If you are unsure which surfboard, wetsuit or accessory is right for you, please contact us before purchasing.

Orders placed with the wrong size or product selection are considered change-of-mind purchases and are subject to the Change of Mind policy above.

Refund Processing

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, refunds (where applicable) will be processed back to your original payment method.

Please allow up to 5 business days for processing, plus any additional time required by your bank.

Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will do our best to cancel it.

Once an order has been shipped, it will be treated under our Returns Policy.

Out of Stock Items

Although we make every effort to keep our website inventory accurate, occasionally an item may become unavailable.

If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer:

  • A replacement product

  • Store credit

  • A full refund

Privacy

We collect personal information including your name, address, phone number and email address to process orders and provide customer support.

Payment information is processed securely through our payment providers.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your information may be shared only with trusted third parties such as payment providers and delivery companies where necessary to complete your order.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Consumers are entitled to a replacement, repair or refund where required by law for products that have a major fault or fail to meet the consumer guarantees.
